An image is processed using special software to convert the colors or grayscale into different thicknesses. The image is then 3D printed. Due to the varying thickness of the material, the image appears in grayscale when viewed against the light.

High-contrast images are ideal. Please contact us if you're unsure. Often, small adjustments, which we can make, are enough to achieve a good result.

If you already have a suitable image, you can upload it directly during the ordering process for the lithophane product. You can also provide additional information.

If you are unsure or would like to submit the image in another way, please feel free to do so by email to info@midifab.com or contact us for further information.

Unless you give other instructions, all submitted images will be deleted.

In principle, any light source that can penetrate the material is suitable. Typically, a small LED lamp is sufficient. Of course, the picture can also be hung in a window, for example, but please note that the maximum temperature is 50°C.

2. Upload your image to the product page, add a comment if necessary, and click "Add to Cart." Alternatively, you can also email the image to info@midifab.com .

3. We will review the image and contact you if it needs to be optimized to discuss this with you.

4. We usually produce your individual product within 24 hours after receiving the order and the picture

5. The shipment will then be made according to your chosen shipping method

We currently only ship within Germany. Please note that certain delivery areas are excluded, especially islands and exclaves.

Unless otherwise stated, your order will be shipped within 1-2 days. Our standard shipping option is Hermes Parcel Service, which takes 2-5 days for delivery.

We always try to complete production as quickly as possible. Some items can be ordered with an express shipping option. In this case, shipping is via DHL Express, which takes 1-2 days. If you need an order by a specific date, contact us, and we'll find a solution.

Returns for most items are accepted within 14 days. You simply need to return them to us postage paid, and you will receive a refund to your original payment method within 14 days at the latest. Returns for custom-made items are not possible.

Most items can be returned within 14 days.

Items made specifically for you (e.g., lithophane) cannot be returned. These items are also not subject to a right of withdrawal. Statutory warranty claims are, of course, not affected.
